The metal roadway is lifted again, back onto a lorry for
removal. A pump has been operating today to take the western stream pass
this work area where a concrete stream base has been laid between the
existing bridge pipe and where the new screen will cover the entrance to
the new 600ml pipe, and simply covered with blue polythene to allow the
water to flow over it overnight as the noisy pump can't be left running
(no silent pump is available). 15/3/06

| Next day and the pump is running, pumping the stream from
Mark's garden, over the new concrete base and into the new pipe and away,
while footings have been cast for the walls on both sides and around the
end of the new pipe, where a new screen will be fitted, as has been done
today at the ford end of the project (see below). 16/3/06 |

| And a small amount of soil is needed by the bridge, where
