A few images of the scene during removal of the Hall's original Canadian maple floor following major damage resulting from leaking underfloor heating which led to the entire floor becoming effectively unusable. Much of the wood and even the polystyrene insulation was 'recycled' locally. Rumour has it that a raised vegetable bed somewhere in the village became the home for one fairly large quantity.
