Harberton Folk

Show of Hands Concert on Saturday 30th September 2017

Harberton Folk is delighted that Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes (www.showofhands.co.uk) and featuring special guest Kirsty Merryn will be previewing The Cathedrals Tour 2017 at St Andrew's Church, Harberton, a fine example of medieval architecture. We look forward to experiencing the lighting and sound system especially designed to enhance the ambience and acoustics of these grand old ecclesiastical buildings. All concert proceeds to the newly formed Harberton Church Community Fund (reg. charity 1172549) for the upkeep of this impressive 14th C building and the promotion of its use for community purposes in the future.

Church Seating

The concert is fully seated but all seating is unreserved/unallocated: first come - first served on the night.

The venue IS a church and most of the seating is on fixed pews, many of which (but not all) have thin cushioning. Those who may feel in need of more comfort for the lower regions may wish to bring a cushion.

The adjacent Church House Inn will be open before, during and after the concert for toilet facilities. To avoid long queues during the interval, especially for the ladies, you can stretch your legs and stroll the 200 paces to the Parish Hall (the car parking location) which will be open for toilet facilities and stewarded before and after the concert, and for the duration of the interval.
Please note that disabled toilet facilities are available only at the Parish Hall, not at the pub.

Disabled Requirements

Be sure to advise when booking if any of the following are required:
Parking for a disabled driver, drop-off access for a disabled person, wheelchair space in church.

Please note that disabled toilet facilities are available only at the Parish Hall, not at the pub.

Cheque + SAE

Payment can be made by cheque (payable to 'John Culf'') - accompanied by a stamped self-addressed envelope sent to this address:

John Culf, West Lodge, Tristford, Harberton, Totnes, Devon TQ9 7RZ

Please be sure to include your telephone number(s), for emergency use only, and your email address if we don't already have it.

Direct Bank Transfer

We are happy to give you the bank account number and sort code to enable you to purchase your tickets in this way, FREE of charge.

We need your email address so we can send confirmation of receipt of payment and tell you your ticket number(s). There's no real need to print this email - Just give your name on arrival at the Box Office in the church on the night of the concert.

Please be sure to include your telephone number(s), for emergency use only, and your email address if we don't already have it.

Refund Policy

Refunds can only be considered once a sell-out is achieved, and if tickets can be easily resold to a waiting list. Any refund possible (less a handling charge) will normally be made by cheque, posted to the relevant person after the event. A bank transfer may also be possible.
