Thursday 3rd October 8.30pm
Bicton Folk Session
Enjoy an evening of lively, foot-tapping music when local musicians get together for an open acoustic session featuring accordions, violins, guitars, banjos, mandolins, pipes, bodhrans etc. Anyone can come and join in, lead a tune or just enjoy listening to the amazing sound created by the performers. The session usually includes lots of jigs, reels, polkas, airs and shanties, but anything can happen!

Saturday 5th October 5pm
Devonbird
Devonbird promise a lively session featuring original songs and rousing traditional jigs and reels. Through their songs Devonbird will tell you the tales of Devonshire witches, highwaymen, shipwrecks, murder and love. Nominated for the Southwest Folk awards in 2016, Devonbird has performed to massive acclaim at numerous prestigious folk festivals throughout the UK and their music has featured on radio stations throughout the world.

Sunday 6th October 5pm
Tim Royce and Steve Songi
Acoustic guitar & vocals plus double bass - country, folk, blues and ballads - mellow to rocking. Tim and Steve stamp their own unique sound onto a huge repertoire ranging from Elvis to Elton, James Taylor to Jimi, Simon & Garfunkel to the Stones, Nick Drake to Dylan, and loads more too numerous to fit in here... Why be anywhere else?

Open Mic Night
An evening of music from anyone who would like to come along and perform in this relaxed atmosphere. The monthly event has so far included a wide range of musical genres and given exposure to some very talented musicians, poets and singers. If you have a musical talent, you donít have to book a place, just come along and play.

Gwilliantics
Gwilliantics features the fantastic line up of blues master Dave Gwilliam, jazz and classical pianist Anthony Powell and virtuoso guitarist Bob King. Each with over forty years in the music business these skilled practitioners will be bringing you a selection of popular jazz classics like youíve never heard them before. Including an element of humour, this new collaboration and guaranteed to get you smiling, singing and tapping youíre your feet.

Sunday 13th October 5pm
Fallen Cedars
Rooted on the edge of Dartmoor, Fallen Cedars feature a diverse range of musical backgrounds and creative skills. Like the seasons, their music is at times stripped bare, intimate, delicate, acoustic and at others, driving, soaring, playful and engaging. Fallen Cedarís influences range from folk to blues to latin, blending styles and genres into their own unique mix of song and storytelling.

Folk and Indie Open Night
Becky Brookes hosts her regular monthly evening of eclectic acoustic folk, country and indie music featuring a varied selection of singers and players. There will be some session playing, solo performances, poetry, shanty singing and who knows what else! If you sing or play you are welcome to take part.

Daniella
Talented singer/songwriter Daniela is guaranteed to impress you when she performs a selection of popular ballads both old and new. Her beautiful singing is perfectly complimented by her competent guitar playing when she performs a selection of folk, rock and indie covers together with some of her own brilliant songs.

Thursday 24th October 8.30pm
Bicton Folk Night
Shanty/folk singer Derek Brooks invites you to a traditional folk night, when a varied selection of singers, musicians and poets perform individually and as a group. If you sing or play why not come along and join in the session? Otherwise enjoy listening to a selection of lively traditional acoustic music.

Saturday 26th October 5pm
Martin Weller
Talented singer, songwriter and recording artist Martin Weller is back at the Bicton for his last Exmouth gig before embarking on a circuit in Oregan, USA. Heíll be performing his unique interpretations of well known pop classics together with some of his own amazing songs, including new ones from his forthcoming album.

Sunday 27th October 5pm
Nigel Challis
Nigel is a highly accomplished guitarist and a master of country/folk finger style. He has performed at numerous festivals and venues throughout the South West to rapturous applause. Today Nigel will be performing a selection of popular songs including country, folk and blues classics.
