Thursday 30th January 8.30pm
Open Mic Night
An evening of music from anyone who would like to come along and perform in this relaxed atmosphere. The monthly event has so far included a wide range of musical genres and given exposure to some very talented musicians, poets and singers. If you have a musical talent, you donít have to book a place, just come along and play.

Saturday 1st February 5pm
Luke Blaber, is a charismatic guitarist and singer based in East Devon and is well known for his audience pleasing performances at clubs, pubs and festivals throughout Devon. Featuring punchy guitar and expressive vocals with gravelly undertones, his performances are both powerful and intimate. Luke puts his own spin on a wide variety of music from rock, to folk, to indie from across the 90's and 00's. He also performs some of his own amazing, evocative songs.

Sunday 2nd February 5pm
Nigel Challis
Nigel is a highly accomplished guitarist and a master of country/folk finger style. He has performed at numerous festivals and venues throughout the South West to rapturous applause. Today Nigel will be performing a selection of popular songs including country, folk and blues classics.

Monday 3rd February 7pm
Guillotine Gals n Guys
A friendly and informal group who get together twice a month to knit, chat and laugh. Some knit for charity, others knit on their own projects, itís really all about enjoying the company of others. Crotchetiers are also welcome. https://www.facebook.com/groups/312617332529675/

Thursday 6th February 8.30pm
Bicton Folk Session
Enjoy an evening of lively, foot-tapping music when local musicians get together for an open acoustic session featuring accordions, violins, guitars, banjos, mandolins, pipes, bodhrans etc. Anyone can come and join in, lead a tune or just enjoy listening to the amazing sound created by the performers. The session usually includes lots of jigs, reels, polkas, airs and shanties, but anything can happen!

The Pianoman
If you'd like to hear some real traditional pub piano playing, then don't miss today's session. Known as the Piano Man, Trevor Woodison is a wizard on the keys and can play virtually anything from classical to boogie woogie, rock and roll to music hall, parlour songs to present day pop. Trevor who has been playing piano for over 30 years is also an accomplished classical composer

Derek Hanson and Friends
Talented singer/songwriter Derek Hanson presents an afternoon featuring some of his latest crafted originals and a few selected covers. Accompanied by acoustic guitar, Derekís heartfelt vocals impressively convey his catchy tunes and highly creative lyrics. Some of Derekís musical friends will join him for the concert.

Valentineís Day
Laurie Ward
Love is in the air when musician/recording artist Laurie Ward presents some very crafted deliveries of popular songs from a massive repertoire covering virtually every genre from heart rendering folk to syncopated reggae and anthemic rock. In addition to a selection of popular classics from the 70ís to the present day Laurie will also be performing some of his own brilliant songs.

Guy Somerfield
An afternoon featuring an eclectic mixture of music from Exmouthís favourite troubadour. Singer/songwriter Guy Somerfield again delivers his very polished performance of songs with an original twist, ranging from gentle folk to pulsing rock and everything in-between. He will also be playing some of his own brilliant songs.

Phil Hogg
Phil Hogg has been creating music since childhood as a chorister and budding musician, playing any instruments he could get his hands on. Since then he has been active on the music scenes in London, Northumberland and Japan, as a solo artist and band member. Phil will be performing a wide range of genres from folk to classical, gospel to country featuring his fantastic singing and impressive piano playing. He will also perform some of his own evocative songs. Phil welcomes audience participation, so get your voices in trim!

Becky Brookes hosts her regular monthly evening of eclectic acoustic folk, country and indie music featuring a varied selection of singers and players. There will be some session playing, solo performances, poetry, shanty singing and who knows what else! If you sing or play you are welcome to take part.

Saturday 22nd February 5pm
Joe Whibley
He's usually winding audiences up with his stabbing chords and screaming riffs, but today rock guitarist Joe Whibley is cooling it with an all acoustic session featuring tender vocals and gentle strumming. Performing some interesting, lesser known songs together with some originals, Joe will be joined by some of his talented musician friends to bring you an afternoon of great music.

Gwilliantics
Gwilliantics features the fantastic line up of blues master Dave Gwilliam, jazz and classical pianist Anthony Powell and virtuoso guitarist Bob King. Each with over forty years in the music business these skilled practitioners will be bringing you a selection of popular classics like youíve never heard them before. Including an element of humour, Gwilliantics are guaranteed to get you singing along and tapping your feet.

Bicton Folk Night
Shanty man Derek Brooks invites you to a traditional folk night, when a varied selection of singers, musicians and poets perform individually and as a group. If you sing or play why not come along and join in the session? Otherwise enjoy listening to a selection of lively traditional acoustic music.

Friday 28th February 9pm
Guyís Vinyl Night
Remember the local community dance where everyone got together to enjoy each others company and have a good jive? Well tonight the Bicton Inn will become a 21st century version of the Ďlocal hopí. Please bring along your favourite vinyls and Charismatic singer/songwriter Guy Somerfield who changes his hat from artist to DJ for the night will give them a spin.

Meandíer
Devon duo Hannah Power & Graham Crocker perform warm open-hearted acoustic music - a mixture of originals and unusual covers featuring guitar, mandolin and harmony vocals. They have been playing acoustic music together for many years although only recently in this duo format. Prior to forming Meand'er, Hannah & Graham have supported many well known artists including Martin Carthy, Seth Lakeman, Al Stewart, Roy Harper, Roy Wood, Julie Felix, Colin Blunstone etc.

Rosie Eade
Rosieís voice is likened to Kate Bush, Maddy Prior and Grace Slick, and her original music is inspired by the likes of The Who as much as Steeleye Span. She is equally accomplished within the acoustic-folk and old school rock genres. Her music is regularly featured on BBC Regional Radio and sheís well known on the national festival scene having performed at Cambridge Folk Festival, Beautiful Days and Glastonbury's Avalon Cafe, to name a few.
