Any special events happening at the pub will be listed on this page.
On special occasions we serve this popular dish prepared for two
persons to share. It was featured in the television programme “The Taste of
the West” with Ruth Langsford. It is a leg of lamb that is slow roasted in
foil in its own juices with fresh herbs, garlic, onions, potatoes and
carrots until tender and falls off the bone. It is brought to the table in
its foil and served with green vegetables and minted gravy. This dish is
prepared to order as it has to spend so long in the oven and has to be
booked at least the day before it is required. |
